Traditional single coil pickup for 5-string. Excellent for country, pop, blues, and classic rock
description
This pickup captures the tone, feel and articulation of a great '62 Jazz Bass. We adjusted the coil geometry and winding configuration to compensate for the different nature of extended range instruments. It's now possible to capture the subtle characteristics of traditional "J-tone" all the way down to the low "B." Includes logo cover.

Calibrated neck and bridge set. Comes in two popular string spacings: 67 mm neck with 70 mm bridge, and 70 mm neck with 74 mm bridge. Often used together with STC-2 or -3 Tone Circuits for optimal tonal control.

Seymour Duncan SJB-5 stack® for jazz bass®
Moderate output passive Stack is perfect for country, pop, blues, and classic rock. This blade-type pickup offers reduced output and a flat response. The bridge pickup has a defined, percussive character. The neck pickup has a warm tone. Used together, you get a solid tone with a slight dip in the mid-range; perfect for slap-style playing. The Stack design eliminates annoying hum. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable and logo cover.
Calibrated neck and bridge set. Best when used together with STC-2 or -3 Tone Circuits for optimal tonal control. Can be used with either 4- or 5-string basses. Note that this pickup is not a direct retrofit for Fender Jazz V, but fits many popular 5-string basses. Will accommodate string spacings up to 2.9" (73.6mm) for either pickup.

Seymour Duncan AJB-5 active for jazz bass®
Increased output active pickup for blues, classic rock, heavy rock and metal. The neck pickup is fat and present with enough punch and snap to bring definition and brilliance to the low-B. The bridge pickup has a solid bottom with a dip in the mids for warmth and clarity. A fully discrete, ultra quiet, 9-volt preamp delivers low impedance output with excellent dynamic range. Includes logo cover.
Calibrated neck and bridge set. Often used together with STC-2 or -3 Tone Circuits for optimal tonal control.
Can be used with either 4- or 5-string basses. Note that this pickup is not a direct retrofit for Fender Jazz V, but fits many popular 5-string basses. Will accommodate string spacings up to 3.10" (78.7mm) for bridge pickup and 3.00" (76.2mm) for neck pickup.

Vintage-voiced Stack®. Perfect for country, pop, blues, and classic rock. This is one of our most popular Basslines pickups. It captures the same great tone, presence and response of the SJB-1 Vintage single coil, but without the annoying hum. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable and logo cover.

Higher output single-coil-sized Stack®. Recommended for blues, classic rock, heavy rock and metal.
Similar to the Classic Stack, but with increased output and a thicker-sounding mid-range response making it better suited for rock tones. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable and logo cover.

Seymour Duncan SJB-1 Vintage for Jazz-Bass®
This pickup gives you the traditional sound of a vintage pickup for Jazz Bass®. The single coil construction brings out the warmth and fullness of the instrument while maintaining clarity and definition. The neck version is reverse wound/reverse polarity (RW/RP) to create a humbucking effect when used together with the bridge model. The bridge model is specially calibrated for the bridge position where there is less string excursion. Pickup cover included

Seymour Duncan SJB-2 Hot for Jazz Bass® :
SJB-2 -- This pickup delivers more output and punch than the SJB-1. You get a deeper low-end response than stock pickups. Like all Basslines™ pickups, the SJB-2b is wax potted to reduce microphonics and feedback. Pickup cover included.

Seymour Duncan SJB-3 quarter-pound for jazz bass®
High output true single-coil. Recommended for blues, classic rock, garage, heavy rock, classic metal and nu-metal. Developed for the bassist who needs the slammin' output of the Hot but with even stronger attack. The quarter-inch pole pieces and intense windings deliver a full response with great sustain. Includes logo cover.
Neck and bridge are calibrated. Neck pickup is slightly narrower and is RW/RP for hum cancelling when both pickups are used together. Often used together with STC-2 or -3 Tone Circuits for optimal tonal control.
