Seymour Duncan California 50s Strat Set
California 50's Set for Strat - SSL-1 Matched set (neck, middle and bridge) of single coils that are replicas of the original Alnico V Stratocaster pickups. Middle pickup is reverse wound for hum cancelling in switch positions 2 and 4. The same type of magnet wire is used, as well as the same number of coil windings. The staggered rod magnets are hand-ground, then aged by the exclusive Dun-Aged process, lacquered bobbins and cloth-braid hook-up wire complete the vintage look. Every detail is included to duplicate the bell-like tone and the high-end bite that made the vintage Strat famous.

Seymour Duncan 'Slash' Set
During the recording of Guns 'n' Roses 'Appetite for Destruction' album, Slash used a custom-made Les Paul (made by the late Chris Derrig) equipped with two Zebra Alnico Pro II humbuckers - straight into a Marshall stack. You can recreate that Slash sound with this set of two pickups.
Slash's guitar used Zebra pickups but many people prefer the look of black pickups and Gibson use black APH-1s in their Slash signature model Les Paul..

The active preamp allows higher gain and more output without sacrificing tonal response and dynamic feel. The resonant frequencies of the bridge and neck pickups are matched with those of the SH-4 JB and SH-2n Jazz Model (neck) respectively.
