The Fender Custom Shop Fat 50's Strat Pickups were designed to give you the sound of a '50s Strat®, but with a little bit more attitude. From the start, these pickups were calibrated and constructed with hand beveled, staggered, Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar wire on the coils.

By design, the Fat '50s pickups deliver enhanced bass response without the harsh mid-range. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum canceling in positions 2 & 4. The blues never sounded so sweet. These pickups are OEM on Custom Shop Showmaster Series Stratocasters®.

Surf's up! The Fender® Custom '54 Strat® Pickup Set is perfect if you're looking for that clean, edgy, unmistakable Strat tone that cuts through to the front of the band. If that's the sound you are looking for then you need the Custom '54 Strat pickups!

This augmented set of vintage style Strat pickups feature staggered, hand beveled, Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar magnet wire wound for classic bell tones, and clear harmonic enhancement. These pickups are specially calibrated so that the bridge pickup is set for increased, balanced output. You can find the Fender Custom '54 Strat Pickup set OEM on the Custom Shop Dick Dale and American Classic Stratocasters®.

Want a fatter sound from your Strat, but still want vintage tone? The Fat '50s are for you! Each pickup is made with height staggered, hand beveled Alnico 5 magnets, Formvar coated magnet wire, vintage style fiber bobbin, and cloth output wires to produce a classic vintage tone. Slightly overwound for higher output and features a reverse wound, reverse polarity middle pickup for hum cancellation (position 2 & 4). OEM on the Custom Shop Showmaster Series

The sound that launched ten thousand songs! When Fender introduced its electric guitars in the 1950s, the music world suddenly changed forever. Now you can get the same vintage-style tone that characterized the Strats from the late '50s and early '60s with the Original '57/'62 Strat pickup. Painstakingly recreated using the same materials as the original, including staggered Alnico 5 magnets, Formvar-coated magnet wire, fiber bobbins and cloth output wire.
