EMG-MMHZ
The MMHZ is a direct replacement for the original Music Man Bass Pickup. This pickup is passive (without internal pre-amp) and features a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output. The MMHZ housing is directly compatible with EMG’s entire “Active” MM pickup line. All feature the ”CS” design (Ceramic and Steel). The CS design has the punch and fullness of the older passive designs along with added brightness for a better-defined tone. EMG’s Active CS Series Pickups feature the same construction and have proven popular among bass players. The five pin connector allows multiple wiring combinations so you can get both dual-coil and single-coil tone with simple switching. Each Pickup is fully shielded for a minimum of noise.

EMG MMTW
The "Twin" version of EMG's Music Man Bass replacement is known as the MMTW. Based on EMG's triple coil 89 Guitar Pickup the TW is two pickups in one, single-coil and dual-coil, and both are totally noiseless. The TW uses EMG's popular ceramic and steel design for a nice transparent, not abusive high end along with a low-end that is just plain thunderous. Similar to EMG's MM-CS the TW has wide spread bobbins (1 inch) combined with a large coil surface area that gives the EMG-TW a most amazing bass tone. The single coil pickup is the same as EMG's Jazz Bass (J) Pickup, strong in mid-range. This is the perfect pickup if you’re planning on building a bass with only one pickup in the sweet spot. The MMTW comes with a push-pull pot that can be used as either a volume or tone control, or you can substitute a dpdt switch.
When using two of the TW Pickups in the same instrument it is not recommended that BT or BQ Systems be used. Each pickup requires a push/pull pot for switching from single coil to dual coil so the balance control included with the system can’t be installed.
If you want to use the balance control, consider switching single/dual coil outputs with a DPDT toggle switch(s) instead.

EMG-MMCS
The MM-CS is a direct replacement pickup for the Music Man Bass. Music Man’s introduction of the large profile pickup changed bass playing forever. The dual-coil MM-CS has wide spread bobbins (1 inch) combined with a large coil surface area that gives the EMG-MMCS a most amazing bass tone. Utilizing EMG’s popular CS (Ceramic and Steel) Design the MM-CS is agreat mixture of design, with ceramic magnets for a transparent high end with steeladded to increase the inductance for a powerful and warm low-end. It’s easy to get great clean tone, but it can also warm up for a great ballad. If you are looking for a bass pickup with a thunderous low-end, this is it.
