Lace Chrome Domes - Set of 3
The Chrome Domes have been praised for both their "sweet, rounded tones" and simultaneously described as sounding like "a Strat on steroids." This was accomplished by modifying a pickup already known for its bell-like tone and rich history, the original Gold Sensor.
Lace took the Gold, long a favorite of such artists as Eric Clapton, and "slammed and crammed" it with "hotter magnetic," and reverse wound the middle pickup, then wrapped the pickups in chrome-plated heavy brass.
Lace specifically upgraded it and did some very direct tweaking with the coil, so it gives a sweeter, more rounded tone, but with a lot more punch. This turbo-charging results in sweet highs that don't pierce and solid lows that don't boom and a lot of power. If there was ever a hot-rod vintage Lace Sensor, this is the one.

Strat Plus DeLuxe/ Francis Rossi Tele Lace Sensor Set
Lace Sensors were standard original equipment on Fender Stratocaster guitars from 1987 to 1996. The company founded by the late Don Lace still continues today making innovative pickups.
The Lace Sensor® Series has less magnetic pull. more sustain, a unique radiant field barrier design that surrounds both the coil and magnets, reducing annoying 60-cycle hum. The patented Lace Micro Matrix Combs® replace traditional bobbins, creating a wider tonal range and better string balance than traditional pickups.
From 1990 to 1996 the Fender Strat Plus DeLuxe was fitted with red (bridge), silver (middle) and blue (neck) Lace sensor pickups. Many people still prefer the musicality of these pickups to the Noiseless pickups fitted by Fender to their guitars today. Francis Rossi fitted these Lace Sensors to his classic green '57 Tele. Fender fit Vintage Noiseless pickups to their Francis Rossi model so if you want the authentic Francis Rossi sound these are the pickups that you need. Note that Francis's Tele has been heavily modified to accept Strat pickups.
The Original Sensor Series are still available.
Blue - warmer 50s tone, 12.8k Silver - fat 70s tone, 7.1k Red - high output for bridge 14.5k
All with white covers.

Lace Alumitone Pickups - Set of Three
The first pickup from this century. Huge top and bottom end. Huge passive design. Cool looks.
This radical departure from pickup design is aluminum based, rather than copper. Result: less resistance, higher output coupled to a "current driven design" as opposed to conventional voltage based pickups.
The aluminum water jet cut exoskeleton is then matted to a micro winding using 90% less fine copper wire, a low impedance/high impedance pickup is then created.
Sonic Evaluation More bass then traditional single coils, more volume, mids are slightly more then conventional pickups. Highs are clear yet smooth, nicely equalized. With a 5-position switch they provide surprisingly very Stratty in-between tones.
Pickguard Note: Alumitones require a rectangular cutout, simple modification is usually required.
Available in: Chrome

Lace Holy Grail - Set of 3 Pickups
Lace Sensors were standard original equipment on Fender Stratocaster guitars from 1987 to 1996. The company founded by the late Don Lace continues today making innovative pickups.
The Lace Holy Grail Series with AlNiCo-5 magnet poles gives you the tone of a '54 Strat® without all the noise. Conventional stacked pickups sacrifice the high and low end, but the Holy Grail's break-through dipped end-sidewinder design reads like a true single coil, each coil read's just 3 magnets each, unlike stack coils that read all 6 magnets twice. This tricks the Holy Grail into thinking its a TRUE single coil!
The Holy Grail's deliver that classic 1954 tone you have been searching for.
HG-1000 position: neck, mid, bridge resistance: 10.7k peak frequency: 3400 inductance: 3.0
