EMG-58
The EMG-58 is one of EMG's original humbucking designs that was abandoned because it was too noisy. The 58 has a bit of hum to it, but has a classic tone that is fat and round. Perfect as a rhythm and blues pickup, the 58 has loads of output, similar to a P-90, only not muddy.

EMG-60 Active Humbucker
While the EMG-60 still features the close aperture coils loaded with ceramic magnets for the brightest attack of any of EMG's many humbucking models, this pickup also packs plenty of output with both clarity and cut through high end. The EMG-60 is incredible for rhythm guitar as metal and extreme players have discovered. James Hetfield's signature ESP models use EMG-60's because their distinctive crunch sets any rhythm player apart in the mix of a band that pumps a lot of mid-range from the stage.

EMG-60A Active Humbucker
The EMG-60A features the close aperture coils loaded with alnico magnets instead of ceramic, giving it warmer and fuller sound. This pickup still packs plenty of output with both clarity and cut through high end. The EMG-60A is incredible for rhythm guitar and sets any player apart in the mix of a band that pumps a lot of mid-range from the stage.

EMG-81 Active Humbucker
The EMG-81 is a high output pickup designed especially for the lead guitarist. The 81 is at its best for high volume overdrive and amps with a master volume. EMG 81 TW Dual Mode Active Humbucker
The EMG-81TW humbucking pickup takes an EMG classic to a new level. The dual-mode design allows for maximum flexibility, with the original 81 providing all the crunch and aggressiveness it's famous for and an all new single-coil that features a fatter tone with plenty of punch and clarity. Either mode is accessed through a push/pull pot for versatility. Dual internal preamps, one tuned for single-coil mode and the other for dual-coil mode, give the 81TW two distinct sounds while delivering EMG's well known noise cancelling technology in both modes.

EMG-85 Active Humbucker
Although the EMG-85 has more measurable output than the 81, its frequency response and string interface are different. The 85 uses two Alnico magnet loaded coils with a wide aperture to maintain a beefy low-end and a fatter top end. Because of a more natural tone, it works great as a rhythm and blues pickup because it has loads of output but isn't muddy.
It's a perfect choice as a rhythm pickup in combination with an 81 in the bridge, which is the same pickup combination used by Zakk Wylde!

EMG-89 Active Dual Mode Pickup
Inside the EMG-89 pickup are both single and dual-coil pickups, each with its own output. The single-coil mode is an Alnico loaded stacked EMG-SA. The dual-coil mode consists of two Alnico loaded coils opposite one another creating a pickup similar to the EMG-85. A push/pull volume or tone enables you to switch from the clarity of a single-coil to the fatness of a humbucking. Virtually noiseless in both modes, it can also be used with several EMG accessories such as the SPC, EXG expander, or the PA2 preamp booster. [+]

EMG-H4
The H4 is the equivalent of EMG's 81 Active Pickup without the "Active". It uses two bar-loaded coils for that "Balls to the Walls" tone. The EMG-H4 pickup has become the bridge pickup of choice for the ESP Guitar Company. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

EMG-H4A
The H4A uses an Alnico 5 magnet for a pronounced mid-range and fat top end. With plenty of punchy tone, it's perfect in the bridge position for the player who wants to rock. The H4A is the perfect pickup for blues or in combination with the H4 pickup, as is used on Epiphone's Zakk Wylde "Bullseye" Guitar. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

Select by EMG SEHG Humbucker
The EMG-SEHG is designed for tone. Both power and cut-through tone are available. The SEHG is fully shielded and potted to give you quiet performance and the output of a full-blown humbucker. EMG-H1A B/N
The H1A Pickup features the same design as the H1, but incorporates Alnico magnets instead of ceramic. While the H1A pickup combines EMG's traditional internal design with adjustable pole pieces and overwound coils, the result is a much warmer sound with a pronounced mid-range and less top end. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

EMG-H1 B/N
The H1 Pickup identifies the birth of EMG-HZ Series Pickups. It features a very traditional internal design but utilizes over wound coils and a ceramic magnet. The H1 has the punch and attack of the newer passive designs along with added brilliance for a better-defined tone. Bright but not muddy in the rhythm position, yet still retaining that real crunch in the bridge. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

EMG-H2 B/N
The H2 Pickup is EMG's "hot-rodded" humbucking pickup. It features vintage wound coils with a ceramic magnet. This pickup is a favorite because it has the power of ceramic in a vintage design. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

EMG-H2A B/N
The H2A is EMG's proto-typical humbucker. The Alnico V magnet adds plenty of fat low-end for a nice punchy tone, perfect for the bridge position for any rhythm and blues player. EMG-H3
The EMG-H3 uses two stud piece loaded coils for better noise rejection with over-wound coils and a ceramic magnet. This pickup uses EMG's traditional solid cover cap in a unique HZ design. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.
