DiMarzio Virtual Acoustic (DP138)
The Virtual Acoustic uses the same technology as the Virtual Vintage line to create a pickup that's practically noise-free, even in comparison to humbuckers (patent applied for). The sound is very accurate, reproducing the natural dynamics and tonality of an acoustic instrument and enabling the Virtual Acoustic to capture the character of the particular guitar it's mounted in. It installs easily in any round-hole steel string guitar. It's also got a volume control with a compensated tone network to minimize tone changes when the volume is adjusted. Twelve adjustable pole pieces allow precise string balance.
Recommended for Soundhole in all steel-string guitars. When you plug the Virtual Acoustic into an amp with all the tone controls set flat, the sound is very even. But adjusting the controls, particularly on a good acoustic amp, gets dramatic results. Highs sizzle, lows open up. If you're going to combine it with a piezo bridge pickup, DiMarzio recommends using a phase-switch equipped preamp or mixer to achieve correct phase relationship and separation.

DiMarzio Super Natural Plus (DP136)
The Super Natural Plus is just what it's name implies — it goes beyond ordinary-sounding pickups with incredibly crisp treble and tight bass response, and patented 60-cycle hum reduction. This combination allows acoustic players to deal with real-world situations where feedback and weak sound can be major problems. The pickup is encased in a plastic cover molded to look like dark rosewood, including the wood grain. It installs easily beneath the strings. Shock-absorbing foam lines the inside edges of both mounting brackets keeping the pickup in place and protecting the soundhole. If necessary, the foam can be cut down to accommodate guitars with smaller soundholes. There are individual adjustable poles for each string, and the built-in 12 ft. cable is thin and light. The Super Natural Plus also features a slide volume control for easy adjustment while playing. Simply put, the Super Natural Plus is a hassle-free, easy-to-use soundhole acoustic pickup, and the natural choice for outstanding acoustic tone.
Many dreadnought-size guitars are very loud and very bass-heavy. Amplifying them can be a real problem. The Super Natural addresses the problem by really tightening up the low end and kicking up the highs.
