DiMarzio Area Hot T Bridge(DP421)
What would a Tele® bridge pickup sound like if it had the same EQ as a vintage PAF®? If youre a Tele® player and you think this is an interesting question, we have the answer: its the Area Hot T Bridge. Because it has the classic Tele® 6-magnet configuration, its not simply a PAF® reduced to Tele® size. The sound is more detailed and controlled. The plain strings both sing and sting, and the wound strings have a dynamic quality thats halfway between a humbucker and a P90. The Area Hot T Bridge uses Alnico 2 magnets like our other Area models, and works well with either 250K or 500K controls. Available in black only.

DiMarzio True Velvet T - Neck (DP177) and Bridge (DP178)
The sound of a great vintage Tele® bridge pickup - if you can find one - is almost magical. It blends elements that shouldn't be able to coexist: sizzle and warmth, sharp attack and smooth sustain. In other words, it has depth. Single notes have weight and presence and chords have detail and dimension. This was our goal for the True Velvet T Bridge. Controlled-tension coil-winding, custom wire and hand-calibrated magnets give the True Velvet T real vintage sound, and double wax potting ensures that its squeal-free.
Tele® neck pickups are finicky creatures. Players have often complained that they're too weak, too muddy, and just don't sound good. The DiMarzio Twang King Neck solved these problems, and we've taken it to the next level with the True Velvet T Neck. The low strings are as big and clean sounding as they are with the DiMarzio Twang King, the highs are smoother, and the attack is stronger. This combination of qualities allows True Velvet T to sound both pretty and touch.

New!! DiMarzio Area T Neck (DP417) and Bridge (DP418)
We believe the Area 58 and Area 61 are a major step forward in the performance of humcancelling Strat® replacement pickups. The new technology that went into these models has allowed us to make a similar advance with Telecaster® replacement pickups.
The Area T neck model has the combination of clarity and warmth that Telecaster® players have always sought, and the new technology allows us to include a vintage Tele cover with no sacrifice in sound quality or power.
The Area T bridge model does what a great Tele® bridge pickup is supposed to do: the highs sing, the lows snap and the mids have a punch thats almost unreal.
Tech Talk: The most instantly obvious quality of the Area T bridge model is dynamics. The Area T tracks changes in pick attack and volume, and it does it instantly. Its also very sensitive to string distance. The volume is very high when the pickup is close to the strings, but can be adjusted much lower by backing the Area T away. String pull is not a problem with the Alnico 2 magnets that are standard on the Area T.
The contrast between a warm neck pickup tone and a biting bridge pickup sound is a Tele® hallmark, but its hard to achieve if the neck pickup is muddy. The Area T neck model has a very smooth tone, but its ability to remain clear even with heavy overdrive is an essential quality of Area design. The Area T was designed to work with 250K controls, but treble response and output can be increased by using 500K volume and tone controls or tweaked further with a 250K volume and the EP1202 1 Megohm tone control.

New!! DiMarzio Air Norton T (DP380)
The Air Norton T is the Tele® bridge replacement version of the full-size Air Norton. Its warm-sounding, very well balanced, and has the same unique tonal characteristics as the original. Fatter and louder than a vintage humbucker but not as overwhelming as a metal pickup, its a great way for Tele® players to make their guitars rock-friendly.
Tech Talk: The original Airbuckers have an air gap between the magnet and the polepieces. The Air Norton T doesnt have this feature, but the sound, output and feel are so similar to the original that we couldnt call it anything else. Its a very good bridge pickup for all types of rock. The combination of medium output and harmonic bite are very effective for single-note soloing as well as chords. The split and parallel humbucking modes are very good, with a glassy sound closer to a stock Tele®. Recommended For: All positions

DiMarzio Pre-B1 Tele Bridge Pickup (DP112)
There are two kinds of Tele® players: country pickers for whom twang is king (DiMarzio doesn't make Twang King pickups for nothing, right?), and players of blues and rock who need less high-end snap and more low-end muscle. We're not talking imitation humbucker-sound here. The Pre B-1 maintains a lot of the basic character of the Tele® bridge position, but the sound is bigger. It can still cut through a mix, but it will fill more space, as well. It also has about 25% more power than a stock Tele® bridge pickup. That means thicker overdrive and more sustain from your favorite tube amp. Recommended For: Standard Tele bridge position.
