Because a conventional humbucker senses the string at two different places, it cancels some frequencies along with the hum. What if there were a humbucker that canceled fewer frequencies? The standard colour is black. If you like the look of double cream coils - DiMarzio is the only manufacturer - however, it is a special order from the factory - as are Zebra coils - and delivery is 4-6 weeks. Gibson Les Pauls, SGs, 335s, Flying Vs, etc should be fitted with standard spacing pickups while ALL others should be fitted with F-spaced pickups.
