The original single coil; unmistakable appearance and sought after fat sound. Scatterwound by hand with plain enamel wire and assembled on a choice of hand machined nickel silver or brass baseplates with nickel silver pole screws.
Comes fully wax potted to prevent unwanted microphonic feedback, has original braided two conductor cable and comes in both soapbar and dogear versions.
The BKP-90 has Alnico II magnets with medium output. The magnets and special windings deliver just the right balance of power and vintage sound - rich and full with trademark smooth mid range.
